On 6 Oct 2024, a group from the church made their way to a lake in Cheshire to conduct the baptisms of two sisters in the church.
Despite the protests that it'd be far too cold, we persevered (and it wasn't that cold, as it happens).
After a short address by the pastor, each of the young ladies was baptised. On this occasion, we used the ancient tradition of pouring water on the head three times, in the names of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, respectively.
Afterwards, the now warm and dry trio joined the church family for some lunch.
We pray for them, knowing that their journey has only just begun and they face a future of both blessings and trials. Yet we teach the scriptural truth that all these things come together for their good.
